Solid Cast Resin Transformers and Varnish Impregnated Dry Type Transformers are practical and ideal solutions for distribution transformers that require utmost safety in areas frequented by people. Both types belong to the broader category of Dry Type Transformers, offering safe and reliable operation without the use of oil.

Solid Cast Resin Transformers are high-efficiency and high-quality transformers with a capacity range of 100 kVA to 25 MVA. Their windings are encapsulated in solid resin, providing excellent protection against moisture, dust, and contaminants, making them suitable for harsh environments. Voltage levels include 12 kV, 24 kV, and 36 kV.

Varnish Impregnated Dry Type Transformers are specifically designed for low-voltage applications. These transformers utilize Class H insulation materials with full impregnation through the VPI process, offering a capacity range of 10 kVA to 2,000 kVA at a maximum voltage level of 7.2 kV.
